How to Migrate Email Accounts to imbra

Move your email accounts and mailbox data from another provider to imbra email hosting.

Steps

In iPanel, set up your email domain by clicking Email in the sidebar and adding your domain.

Create email accounts matching those at your current provider.

Configure the DNS records (MX, SPF, DKIM) as shown in iPanel's Email DNS settings.

Use iPanel's Email Import feature or an IMAP migration tool to transfer existing emails from your old provider.

Update your email clients (Outlook, Gmail, phone) with the new imbra IMAP and SMTP settings.

Verify sending and receiving works correctly on the new setup.

Tip: Keep your old email service running in parallel for a few days during migration to ensure no emails are lost.
